Umeed
Umeed—the social cause vertical of Utsaha—strives to make a positive impact through relevant social initiatives. Our goal is to uplift rural communities by conducting workshops and raising awareness on social issues, guided by needs assessed through surveys and interactions in the Indore region. Past efforts include skill development workshops for rural students, educational support, and clean water facilities in Janapav Kutti schools. This year, our focus is on fostering design thinking and skill development among students empowering them with practical and creative problem-solving skills.
Our engagement with the villagers is not limited to just the fest. Since the inception, Umeed has been working towards socially conscious issues in various regions surrounding Indore. We have also expanded our scope in Harsola and other villages.
The idea is to give back to rural communities in Indore and nearby regions through various social initiatives. Primarily, Umeed has been working in and around Janapav Kuti where Rural Utsaha fest is organized.
School Visits
Umeed has conducted workshops in 6 rural Government schools impacting the lives of 500+ students through imparting various educational sessions, career counselling sessions and providing with basic water facilities.
